College Cleaners joins the Student Business Incubator in The Florida State University's College of Business

Tallahassee, Fla. - The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and The Florida State University College of Business are pleased to welcome College Cleaners to the Student Business Incubator (SBI), a facility that provides professional office space and connects enterprising students with mentors to help solve the myriad problems every fledgling venture faces. College Cleaners is the fifth student business to locate in the SBI since it opened its doors in September 2010.

College Cleaners, a source of new job creation and economic development in Tallahassee, provides house cleaning for college students living in apartments or houses on or off campus. Co-founders Michael Loudis (Management with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship), Khashayar Fallahzadeh (Entrepreneurship and Accounting) and Patrick Cueva (International Relations and Economics) decided to launch College Cleaners in 2011 to fill a niche they experienced personally as studious Delta Tau Delta and Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity members with no time to clean their rooms.“ Our goal is to create a cooperative atmosphere that reflects the personality of a successful, vibrant and enthusiastic company,” said co-founder Michael Loudis, “that is a leader in customer service and satisfaction with a truly loyal and dedicated customer base of busy college students.”

College Cleaners has tailored their house cleaning services to meet the specific needs of their target customers, college students. College Cleaners offers a number of standard cleaning packages and is willing to customize a package to your specific needs. Services include waste disposal, window cleaning, blind and upholstery cleaning, carpet and hard surface floor care, and restroom sanitation. “We are committed to the continuous improvement of our services and the treatment of every cleaning project with trained personnel,” offered co-founder Khashayar Fallahzadeh. “Our goal is to provide college students with professional, first-class quality service and convenient scheduling.”
The SBI has private office space to support up to eight early-stage ventures and provides a common area for students to discuss their ideas in a relaxed environment, opportunities for peer mentoring interactions and for synergies between teams to develop. The goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where innovation and creativity can flourish and where classroom education is made relevant for student entrepreneurs who are developing new business ideas. Other student businesses currently operating in the SBI include StooKoo (, Web Traffic Consultants LLC (, ( and Notelog LLC (

About The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship:
The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship was established in 1995 through generous donations from automotive industry legend Jim Moran, his wife Jan, and JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Their gifts were supplemented with a major grant from the State of Florida to create a fully funded endowment. Its mission is to cultivate, train and inspire entrepreneurial leaders in the community through world-class education, leading-edge research and applied training, intensive consulting assistance and mentorship to entrepreneurs and business owners at no charge, and public recognition. The team of entrepreneurship professionals, academic scholars, and staff foster the entrepreneurial spirit by helping to organize, expand and promote the knowledge and practice of entrepreneurship in such a way as to facilitate new business and to further the goals of established businesses. The Jim Moran Institute’s faculty and staff provide students, faculty, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business owners the tools and expertise necessary to develop strategies that establish and sustain advantages for businesses in today’s competitive marketplace and to creatively pursue new opportunities and innovations involving the startup of new business ventures. Through degree and certificate programs in entrepreneurship, outreach programs that reach across Florida and throughout the world, and complementary activities such as half-day workshops and a speaker series, The Jim Moran Institute currently serves more than 1,000 undergraduates and about 200 businesses each year.
