Florida State /  The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship / Outreach / South Florida Initiative

South Florida Initiative

Thanks to the continued generosity of Jan Moran, the Jim Moran Foundation, Inc., and JM Family Enterprises, Inc., The Jim Moran Institute now has a South Florida Initiative which was launched in March 2009. The mission of this initiative is to provide direct assistance to entrepreneurs in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. To accomplish this mission, Jerry Osteryoung works two weeks out of every month in South Florida providing in-depth coaching and mentoring to entrepreneurs who are creating living wage jobs within these communities. On November 9, 2010, The Jim Moran Institute held the first annual Minority Business Conference at Broward College.

Minority Business Conference 2012

Please join us at The Jim Moran Institute's 2nd Annual Minority Business Conference. You will get to hear a great speaker talk on a subject important to every business. Breakout sessions are scheduled so you can join a smaller, more-focused group to spend more time discussing the topics that interest you most. Take advantage of the opportunities to meet and network with other entrepreneurs and business owners who are facing similar challenges in this economy.
