South Florida Graduates Fall 2019 Executive Programs
Broward/Palm Beach, Fla. — The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship in Florida State University’s College of Business hosted ceremonies in Broward and Palm Beach counties to celebrate the graduation of its South Florida Operation’s Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) and Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP) Fall 2019 classes.
The Broward ceremony was held at the Urban League of Broward County Tuesday, Nov. 19, and the Palm Beach ceremony took place at the Carolyn Sims Center Thursday, Nov. 21.
“Small businesses have the power to shape and transform our community, and it has been a privilege to provide our local business and nonprofit leaders with knowledge and resources that can help their organizations grow,” said Jennifer Kovach, director of the Jim Moran Institute’s South Florida Operations. “We look forward to working with talented South Florida executives in 2020 and beyond.”
The four-month programs began in July and ran through November. Participating business leaders represented a variety of industries, including event planning, skin care, security, insurance, construction, arts and education.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship’s South Florida Operations. Since 2009, the South Florida team has guided and graduated 26 classes through its executive programs.
The SBEP and NPEP are ideal for CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, presidents and executive directors of small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Graduates emerge with the skills and training needed to capitalize on business opportunities, implement best practice management and turn challenges into strategic advantage.

About the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship
The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship cultivates, trains and inspires entrepreneurial leaders through world-class executive education, applied training, public recognition and leading-edge research. The Jim Moran Institute's South Florida Operations serves established entrepreneurs, business owners and nonprofit leaders in the South Florida community through multiple programs designed to take advantage of local resources. Providing executive education and leveraging the resources of the Jim Moran Institute, the South Florida Operations helps its clients' businesses - and the region's economy - grow and prosper. Based in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, the South Florida Operations services are provided to for-profit and nonprofit businesses and are geared toward CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners and presidents of small businesses whose companies have been established for at least three years and have five or more employees. Services are provided for little to no cost.
