Virtual Closing Ceremony Held for South Florida Executive Programs
Broward/Palm Beach, Fla. — The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, in Florida State University’s College of Business, held a virtual closing ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, to celebrate the graduation of Broward and Palm Beach County’s Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) and Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP) spring 2020 classes. The ceremony was held virtually in compliance with the state’s social distancing measures.
“We are privileged to work with so many talented and impressive local business and nonprofit leaders, and truly enjoy watching them develop their skills even further through our executive programs,” said Jennifer Kovach, director of the Jim Moran Institute’s South Florida Operations. “We know these programs were especially challenging due to the coronavirus pandemic, but we feel we’ve helped our participants navigate their businesses through this unprecedented time.”
The four-month, no-cost program began in January and ran through May 19. Participants represented a variety of industries, including construction, healthcare, food service, photography, interior design, and entertainment.
Since 2009, the Jim Moran Institute’s South Florida Operations team has guided and graduated 29 classes through its executive programs.
The SBEP and NPEP are ideal for CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, presidents and executive directors of small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Graduates emerge with the skills and training needed to capitalize on business opportunities, implement best practice management and turn challenges into strategic advantage.
