Small Business Leadership Conference


Each year the Jim Moran Institute hosts a conference for small business owners with opportunities for entrepreneurs to learn, share and network. Speakers are selected whose topics are broad enough to be helpful for every business owner, and breakout workshop sessions are held during which attendees can join smaller, more focused groups to discuss topics that interest them most.

Our Upcoming Conference

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, are thrilled to continue our partnership and host the 2020 Small Business Leadership Conference.

Held June 15-17, 2020 at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, the Small Business Leadership Conference is the premier professional development and networking opportunity for small business owners, managers, executives, economic and community development leaders, and nonprofits in Florida and beyond.

Become A Speaker

We are currently accepting proposals for workshop speakers. 

Conference speakers will join a group of esteemed industry experts in furthering the entrepreneurial efforts of small business owners, encouraging professional development and business growth, as well as networking and enhancing their own professional profile.

Topics for the conference include business management, business resiliency, financing, market growth, marketing, nonprofit management and other subjects inherent to small businesses.
