Allison Harrell has dedicated most of her career to specializing in not-for-profit and governmental accounting, and in providing a wide range of services to clients, which include financial statement audits, compliance audits, internal control studies, and a variety of consulting work.
Harrell is a member of a number of organizations and she has served on professional association boards and committees as well as within our community. She serves on the American Institute of CPAs Government Audit Quality Center Executive Committee and is a former member of the AICPA's Inaugural Leadership Academy. She is a member of Leadership Tallahassee Class 27 and Access Tallahassee and is treasurer for Tree House of Tallahassee. She also served as chair of the board for 2-1-1 Big Bend.
Harrell's recognitions include being named one of the Top 40 under 40 CPAs in CPA Technology Advisor Magazine in 2009 and one of the Top 26 under 36 in the Florida Institute of CPAs' Florida CPA Today magazine in 2013. Most recently, she was awarded the 2014 Golden A.C.E. Award in the finance category by the Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals and the 2014 Emerging Leader Women to Watch Award by the Florida Institute of CPAs.
