Kevin Saunders was born and raised in Tallahassee, Fla. At the age of 23, he moved to Denver, Colo. where he attended Red Rocks Community College.

Then, with the intent of pursuing his calling in life as a sportscaster or talk show host, Saunders next moved to Grand Junction, Colo. where he attended Mesa State University. While there, he took a job for a local radio station, and within three months, he was part of the number-one morning show for that part of the country.

After being named Best of the West by the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, Saunders went on to host a four-hour sports talk show in Farmington, N.M. It was there that Saunders realized it wasn't sports he loved, but communities, so he made his final move back to Tallahassee. In 2007, Saunders and his best friend Greg Schwenk started Codagenx, a managed IT service company.
